[Returning, Waiting for Lai, Going Home]  The series of works is my visualization in artistic creation of the memories of “home,” shaped by my constant movement between two regions (Hong Kong and Shantou).

[Waiting for Lai]  The series takes its name from the Teochew dialect phrase for “going home,” and it is a recreation of my spatial memories of my Shantou home. Colored glass reflects a blue living room, the fish tank is filled with toys and decorations, the hands of a piggy clock are frozen at the moment of my birth, and a tender lullaby occasionally echoes in my ears. Everything sparkles, so beautiful.
